July 26, 2009 101 degrees on the asphalt parking lot at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson New Jersey.
Well, it turns out to be a major change of venue for the band. We showed up and learned there had been some missed communications between the Park and Yes' production team, which ended with our band playing outside of the amphitheater entrance. Still, worked out great! The audience was lined up and waiting for the gates to open for the theater, so we played our entire 45 minute set to the same audience we would have played for on the bigger stage. It's all good! All the employees at the Six Flags were amazingly helpful. We graciously thank them all for treating us so well.
